Tomorrows Voices

Scholarship Programme

Supporting Middle Eastern musicians who will move generations of audiences with their talent and cultural diversity

Since 1994 the Peace and Prosperity Trust has been empowering Middle Eastern musicians with career and educational training to enter the international music stage.

Our scholarship programme Tomorrows Voices has extended opportunities to the most talented artists in the Middle East, or with Middle Eastern heritage to train and obtain a performing arts degree in the UK.

Diversity –  Designing educational programmes for traditionally underserved groups, giving voice to a new generation of international artists.

Inclusivity – Diversity brings creative, social and economic potential to global communities. We bring the richness of new voices to the music industry.

Heritage –  Nurturing heritage and culture, developing identity and belonging. Supporting the next leaders and change makers within our global society.

Supporting the Next Generation of Changemakers

We are building a coalition of colleges, universities and private donors to support exceptional musical talent from the Middle East and provide scholarships for them to complete a higher educational degree and support them with their musical career. These talented musicians will positively bring cultural diversity to the global community and sit centre stage in the international market of the arts.

Many talented young musicians in the Middle East face barriers unknown to us here in the UK. This scholarship programme represents young people who have the experience of war at their heels. Musicians who have felt the trials of discrimination, homelessness and censorship. Importantly it represents hope to a generation of young people.

A Transformational Gift

Education is the future! Gifting an education can be one of the most rewarding experiences.

Donating to the  scholarship programme can transform a life and bring real change.

“The goals of the Trust – to support Young Artists and propel them on to the world stage, to endeavour to integrate Eastern and Western cultures more closely and to help raise awareness and funds for charitable projects with young musicians are truly worthwhile and have my full support”

Events Programme

The Trust stages high profile prestigious concerts including concerts at Kensington Palace (2014, 2016 and 2018) in the presence of TRH The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, in collaboration with Barclays, the Arab International Woman’s Forum and Positive Planet, respectively.

Other highlights include concerts at Cadogan Hall  (2009 and 2012) in the presence of TRH The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and HRH Princess Alia Bint Al Hussein of Jordan, and at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in the presence of HRH Princess Dina Abdul Hamid Al Aoun of Jordan. In 2010 the Trust was invited to a reception at Buckingham Palace hosted by Her Majesty The Queen in recognition of young people in the performing arts and those who support them. Rajai Khouri and two of our young artists attended this reception where they met Her Majesty and all members of the Royal Family. One of our last events in 2019 was a Masterclass given by our Patron, Tenor Dennis O’Neil CBE at the Shangri-La Hotel in the Shard, to the Trust’s Artists.
